75ml Gallo Olive Oil
- 200g Various types of Lettuce
- 200g Goat Cheese
- 50g Almond kernels with skin
- 20g Honey
- 10ml Lemon Juice
Method of preparation
Slice the goat cheese, mix the honey and half of the lemon juice and pour over the cheese.
Lightly toast the almonds (use an anti-stick skillet on a low flame) and then cut into little sticks.
Place the lettuce leaves on a dish and on top the seasoned slices of goat cheese, and then sprinkle with the shredded almonds.
Season with Gallo Classic olive oil and the remaining lemon juice.
The goat cheese is best sliced with a steel wire cheese slicer.
The Gallo products that the Chef suggests for this recipe can be substituted by other Gallo varities of your preference.
